About Spencer

“Honored to serve my community as a trusted legal advisor”

As a first-generation lawyer, I understand that legal issues are often complex and can be overwhelming for people experiencing hardship. This is why my primary goal as an Attorney at MCCM, and the reason I decided to go to law school, is to help others. I listen to my clients' goals and what they hope to accomplish with my representation, and then I work with them to find a solution that meets those goals.

Professional Background

Growing up in a small town helped shape Spencer’s understanding of the importance of building strong relationships within the community, and the significance of helping others while treating them with respect. His parents, both teachers in the Dansville Central School District, showed him the values of honesty, compassion, and a strong work ethic, all of which are his foundational values as an Attorney.

Spencer spends the majority of his time meeting with clients to hear what legal issue brought them to the firm, preparing a course of action that resolves their issues and meets their desired outcome, and then following through on that plan until their goals have been met. Spencer strives to provide the highest quality of work for all of his clients in a timely manner.

Spencer joined MCCM as a Summer Law Clerk after completing his second year of law school, and rejoined the firm as an attorney following law school graduation. After passing the Bar, he was admitted as an attorney in 2024.

Spencer’s experience across diverse areas of the law enables him to provide effective legal advice and services to a variety of clients, including those who require legal assistance in the areas of:

  • Estate Planning
  • Estate and Trust Administration
  • Drafting wills, trusts, health care proxies and durable powers of attorney;
  • Related Elder Law matters such as planning for nursing home costs and Medicaid eligibility;
  • Estate litigation; and

At The University of Dayton School of Law, Spencer completed and earned Concentrations with Certification in the areas of Personal and Family Law and Business and Compliance Law.
