Summer Intern - 2025

The Summer Internship role will provide the intern with an opportunity to work on a variety of legal issues and gain a stronger understanding of the legal profession.

Qualifications

  • Currently a student enrolled in a Juris Doctorate (JD) program
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 – May 2026
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above

  • Availability to work 40 hours/week for entire 8-10 week program

  • A Rochester-area native or demonstrated connection to the area with an intention of returning to the area to practice law after graduation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform substantive legal research and factual development.
  • Draft articles related to legal topics for the firm’s website.
  • Attend internal meetings with departments.
  • Interface with firm attorneys and other legal staff
  • May be given primary responsibility for generating first draft analyses to developing issues or responses to inquiries.

Pay Rate:   Starting at $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
