Lucien A. Morin, II Honored With MCBA Bankruptcy Committee Achievement Award

MCCM congratulates Lucien A. Morin, II on receiving the Monroe County Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Committee Achievement Award. He will be presented with the award at the Bankruptcy Committee New Year Cocktail Party at the Hilton Garden Inn. The Bankruptcy Committee provides a forum for practitioners to address procedural and substantive issues, produce seminars on related topics, and assist the United States Bankruptcy Court in implementing changes to local procedures.
Lou leads our Bankruptcy and Real Estate practices. He was selected for inclusion in the 2016 Upstate New York Super Lawyers® list and in The Best Lawyers In America® list in the field of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law. Lou was also named Best Lawyers®’ 2017 Rochester, NY Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law "Lawyer of the Year;” only a single lawyer in each practice in each community is honored as such every year. He was named a 2012 Leader in Law by The Daily Record.
Lou is recognized as one of the foremost attorneys in Western New York with respect to real estate and bankruptcy matters. A frequent guest lecturer to bar association and realtor groups, he has also served on committees which have revised and improved the standard forms used by realtors and attorneys for residential real estate transactions. Lou maintains an active bankruptcy and workout practice, and serves as a Certified Federal Court Mediator for the Western District of New York.
