MCCM Sponsors "Art of Lawyering" Fundraiser for VLSP

MCCM was a sponsor of this year’s Art of Lawyering event in support of the Volunteer Legal Services Project. Our own Mary Ognibene committed her time and talents to organizing the event. The Art of Lawyering fundraiser showcases and celebrates the artistic talents within the legal community while aiding a worthy cause.
An assortment of items was auctioned, including two Yankees tickets in the W.B. Mason luxury suite, a two-night weekend stay wine package at Villa Bellangelo in the Finger Lakes, paintings and photographs, jewelry, textiles, knitting lessons by a local judge (you read that right), music lessons at Eastman Community Music School and Roberts Community Music School, South Wedge gift certificates, and a package of Rochester Italian restaurants and bakeries gift certificates. A live jazz band and Biodance provided entertainment. The event raised $25,000 for VLSP, double the organizers’ goal. Congrats to all on a wonderful event for a fantastic cause!
